Although it is aimed at the scholarly set, I completely relate with her description about what we go through to make you look good. That’s our job, after all—to make you look good.
By catching errors, suggesting alternate wording and double-checking your logic—which isn’t seen by readers—we make you look like a veritable genius and a fantastic writer. And we do it really well.
